White was a third-team All-MEAC selection after finishing third in the 5,000 meters at the 2016 MEAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships while teammate and Cabean’s son Perry Cabean was second-team All-MEAC in the 10,000 meters.

Cabean joined the Aggies after 10 successful years as the distance coach and director of athletics of the Tri-City Relays Track Club. Cabean guided his youth cross country team to the AAU national team title in 2012 in the Boys High School division.  Additionally, he also coached a second-place finisher in the 5000 meters of the Young Woman’s division.
