#17 Tyler Boone

Boone: Boone has operated as the Aggies ace for the past three seasons. He has been a valuable workhorse for the Aggies, making 62 career appearances and 31 starts. Boone has 161 career strikeouts in 246.2 innings pitched, and he has 11 career wins with two shutouts and two saves. He has recorded a career-high eight strikeouts three times in his career. He was named MEAC Pitcher of the Week on May 10, 2013. He is the son of Richard and Susan Boone.
#12 Justin Godette
6-2, 175 Senior RHP
Liberal Studies (Pre Law)
Godette: Godette became an Aggie two years ago after transferring from Lenoir Community College. In two seasons, Godette has been a valuable midweek starter for A&T. Among his big starts was pitching seven innings of scoreless baseball against High Point University on March 19, 2014. He also pitched five strong innings against UNC Greensboro on March 26, 2014. Godette has made 22 appearances and 10 career starts. He is the son of Johnny and Denise Godette.
#1 James Harris
6-1, 170 Senior INF
Harris: Harris has been a quality utility player for the Aggies over the past four years. He is also an excellent student in the classroom. Harris is a four-time North Carolina A&T scholar athlete, a three-time member of the Dean’s List and he has made the MEAC’s All-Academic Team three times. He has played in 50 career games and has six career stolen bases in six attempts. Harris has also made five appearances on the mound. He is the son of Kenneth and Shardene Harris.
#26 Cameron Jergens
6-3, 210 Senior 1B
Liberal Studies (Interdisciplinary)
Jergens: Jergens became an Aggie two years ago after transferring from Daytona State College. His arrival has helped the Aggies offense immensely. As a junior he served as the Aggies designated hitter where he hit .294 with two home runs and was second on the team with 35 RBI. This season has been the Aggies every day first baseman where he has not made an error since March 15, 2014. He is a career .289 hitter with 16 doubles, four home runs and 58 RBI. Jergens is also a two-time scholar athlete and a two-time member of the MEAC’s All-Academic Team. He is the son of Jeffrey and Elizabeth Jergens.
#44 Stefan Jordan
6-1, 190 Senior Catcher/DH
Journalism and Mass Communications (Broadcast Production)
Jordan: Jordan has used his excellent arm to man the catching position for the Aggies over the past four seasons. Jordan has caught 59 base runners trying to steal. Jordan is a durable player who has played in 155 games with 142 starts. As a senior, he is having the best offensive season of his career, batting .275 with 25 hits and a .353 on-base percentage. In the classroom, Jordan has the eighth-highest grade point average in athletics with a 3.86 GPA. He is a four-time A&T scholar, a three-time All-MEAC Academic Team member and he has made the Dean’s List twice. He is the son of Michael and Kim Jordan.
#22 Luke Tendler
6-0, 190 Senior SS
Tendler: Tendler will leave North Carolina A&T as one of the baseball program’s most accomplished players. He earned Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American, first-team Baseball Writers Association Freshman All-American and first-team Perfect Game Freshman All-American honors. He has also been named a third-team Louisville Slugger All-American as a junior. He came into this season recognized as the No. 2 draft prospect out of the MEAC by Baseball America. He was named the hitter MEAC opponents least like to face by CollegeBaseballInsider.com. He is also a three-time All-MEAC performer and he was named MEAC Preseason Player of the Year by Baseball America. He is a career .353 hitter with 24 home runs and 174 RBI. He also has .570 career slugging percentage with 65 doubles and 15 triples. As a junior, he was sixth in the nation in doubles. He is the son of Hal and Joyce Tendler.
