Came into the season with a hernia injury that affected his performance the entire season...Was believed to be the backup kicker when he came into camp, but because of a personnel change, he was boosted into the top role even though he was injured...Came into spring practice healthy in 2010...Connected on two field goals (32, 37) during the Spring Game to lead the Blue to a 6-0 win over the Gold.

2009 Season: Made 35 kickoffs during the season and averaged 43.7 per kickoff...Connected on 4 of his 12 field goals during the season...Also went 8-for-10 on extra points...Made two crucial field goals against Winston-Salem State on Sept. 5...Courtney's field goal in the fourth quarter gave the Aggies a 13-10 lead...They would go on to win 19-10...Gave the Aggies a confidence boost when he booted a 24-yard field goal moments after Norfolk State took the opening drive and scored a touchdown on Sept. 12...The Aggies eventually won 19-10....Made a season-best 34-yard field goal against N.C. Central on Oct. 3.

High School: Was successful on 8 of 10 field goals, including a 50-yarder.
