CHIT CHAT: The Aggies will close out their non-conference schedule on Sunday with a home game against first-time opponent George Washington. The Aggies have won their last two games, and look to carry that momentum into Sunday's game and into conference play on Jan. 12 at Bethune-Cookman. The Aggies were able to pick up a road win on Thursday in front of a vocal crowd, which will help prepare them for the challenges of beginning MEAC competition on the road next week. The Aggies are 0-3 this season against first-time opponents, having lost to Nebraska, Omaha and Richmond all on the road in November.
From the Coach: "Every day we're getting better. We're growing as a team. Our focus is one more game before treating every game as a championship game - that's conference time."

It's A "Lock": Sharing the ball is key for the Aggies. A&T is 1-3 when one or no players score in double figures. However, when two or more people score in double figures, the Aggies are 7-2.
The Opponent: The Colonials are 6-7 under first year head coach Jonathan Tsipis, and have lost their last two games. Sunday's game will be the first for the Colonials since Dec. 30. George Washington returned four starters from last year's 11-18 team. George Washington was picked to finish eighth in the Atlantic 10. Graduate student Tara Booker and senior Danni Jackson were named to the preseason all-conference third team. Jackson was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week on Dec. 24. She is averaging 9.6 points and 2.0 rebounds per game with 34 steals on the year. Booker leads the team with 77 rebounds. Megan Nipe leads the team with an average of 9.8 points per game. The Colonials are 2-5 on the road this year. The Aggies are the second MEAC team that the Colonials will play this year. George Washington defeated Morgan State 75-40 on the road on Nov. 28.
Potential Gameday Star Power: North Carolina A&T: Senior forward JaQuayla Berry has scored in double figures in six straight games. She is averaging a team-best 12.5 points per game this season, and last season, she had streaks of seven and 11 consecutive games with double-digit points. George Washington: Senior Danni Jackson was tied for the team lead with 13 points in the team's loss to Saint Mary's (CA) on Dec. 30, and had a team-high five assists along with a block and a steal in the game. She'll look to be a threat offensively. She is second on the team with an average of 9.6 points per game.
The Magic Number for A&T: 35: The Aggies are 5-2 when they collect more than 35 rebounds in a game. They have recorded more than 40 rebounds four times this season, and won each of those games.
FROM THE NOTES
Senior forward JaQuayla Berry led the team in points, rebounds and assists for the second game this season on Thursday at UNCW. She also led the team in blocks.
The Aggies are 6-1 when scoring more points in the paint than their opponent.
