Tickets Are On Sale For Atlanta Football Classic

GREENSBORO – The Atlanta Football Classic, presented by 100 Black Men of Atlanta, announced today the match-up for its 26th annual game.  For the second consecutive year, the North Carolina A&T Aggies will compete against the South Carolina State Bulldogs at the Georgia Dome on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. This will be S.C. State’s third return to the legendary game and the second appearance for A&T.

Tickets are on sale now at the Georgia Dome ticket office, www.ticketmaster.com and participating schools' ticket offices.  Prices range from $10 to $50. Additional details about pre-event and game day festivities are available at www.atlantafootballclassic.com.

"We are thrilled to welcome back both schools to the Georgia Dome for another year of great football and team comradery," said John Grant, CEO of 100 Black Men of Atlanta. "We are proud and fortunate to have raised millions of dollars for our Project Success program and for participating schools."

Fans have converged in Atlanta for a weekend of VIP parties, concerts, educational competitions, community service projects, networking events and all that the great City of Atlanta has to offer. The Atlanta Football Classic is the largest fundraiser for 100 Black Men of Atlanta's mentoring, academic and scholarship program, Project Success.

First organized by the 100 Black Men of Atlanta in 1992, the Atlanta Football Classic has evolved into the second largest recurring college sporting event in Georgia. Culminating in the largest attended HBCU Classic game between rival programs, complete with a full marching band showdown, the Classic's weekend agenda of events includes a robotics invitational; a collegiate symposium; health, & college fairs; the Parade of Excellence and much, more! Bringing 150,000 visitors into the city, the Atlanta Football Classic generates nearly $30M in Georgia's economy each year and has a permanent exhibit located in the Georgia Dome, commemorating its success.
