2012-13 Season: Played in 35 games with 30 starts…Averaged 8.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and shot .550 from the floor…Also averaged 22.5 minutes per game…Ranked sixth in the conference field goal percentage…Shot .636 from the free throw line…Scored in double figures 11 times, led the Aggies in scoring three times and in rebounding eight times…Beckford earned MEAC Rookie of the Week for Dec. 31-Jan.6…During the week he scored 15 points and grabbed a season-high nine rebounds in the Aggies 81-77 win over Radford on Jan. 2…Followed up that performance by hitting two crucial shots in the final minutes of the Aggies 71-65 win over Georgia Southern on Jan. 5…During that week, Beckford scored 24 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, blocked three shots and had three steals…In just his second start of the season, scored 19 points and had eight rebounds on 8-for-8 shooting to lead A&T to a win over Campbell on Nov. 23…Scored 16 points and went 6-for-6 from the free throw line in the Aggies home win over Florida A&M on Feb. 11…Had 16 points on 8-for-10 shooting in the Aggies win over Liberty in the NCAA tournament on March 19…It was the Aggies first-ever NCAA tournament win.
