Expectations are high for the athletic and gifted Keyes after an All-MEAC season in 2015 … Has shown the ability to make big plays on defense including scoring touchdowns and knocking down passes at the line of scrimmage … Helped the Aggies put together one of the best defenses in Division I-FCS as he ranks among the best run stoppers in the nation … After missing his first two seasons at A&T due to a redshirt year and an injury, he put together a quality 2014 and ‘15 seasons … Has two career defensive touchdowns … Missed the 2013 season with a leg injury…Played for outstanding high school program at Kinston High School…Can bench press 225 pounds 21 times, a two rep improvement from last season … Also benches 390 pounds, one of the highest bench press maxes on the team … His reach is 96 ½ inches and he possesses a 30-inch vertical jump … Runs the 40-yard dash in 4.65 seconds … Has played in 24 games with 20 starts and has 83 career tackles (48 unassisted), 29 tackles for loss, nine sacks and has broken up 15 passes.

2015 Season: Started all 12 games for the Aggies … Made 54 tackles (30 unassisted) with 16 tackles for loss to lead the team and three fumble recoveries … Was tied for second on the team in tackles …Ranked second in the MEAC and fourth in the nation in fumble recoveries … Ranked 36th in the nation and seventh in the conference in TFL’s … Earned second-team All-MEAC honors as a defensive lineman … Knocked down eight passes at the line of scrimmage …  Three of his six tackles at Norfolk State on Oct. 10 went for loss as the Aggies defeated the Spartans 27-3 … Posted a team-high seven tackles (four unassisted) and had 1 ½ TFL’s in the Aggies 24-14 win over Bethune-Cookman on Oct. 17 … The following week he recovered a fumble and returned it 42 yards for a touchdown in a 65-14 win over Howard during homecoming … Made a career-high nine tackles (6 unassisted) in the Aggies 9-6 win over S.C. State on Nov. 7.

2014 Season: Played in 12 games with nine starts…Made 29 tackles (18 unassisted), seven tackles for loss, two sacks and two interceptions…Also had seven pass defenses and he recovered a fumble….Ranked 15th in the conference in pass defenses…Batted five passes down at the line of scrimmage…Made the game-winning interception at Elon as the Phoenix was driving down the field for the game-winning score in what turned out to be a 17-12 A&T win at Elon on Sept. 13…Returned an interception 55 yards in a 33-20 win at Delaware State on Oct. 18…Had season highs in tackles – four – in the MEAC/SWAC Challenge win over Alabama A&M in Orlando, Fla., and against Hampton on Oct. 9 in a 31-14 win in a game nationally televised by ESPNU at Aggie Stadium.  

2013 Season: Missed the entire season with an injury.

2012 Season: Did not play in any games.

 High School: Led the Kinston Vikings to the state 2A state championship game...Made a total of 20 tackles in the title game with 10 of them being solo...Was named Eastern Plains Conference Defensive Player of the Year after totaling 140 tackles (74 solo)...Also named first-team all-conference and the Kinston Free Press named him to its first team...Earned team MVP honors at the end of the season.
