Became a part-time starter during his freshman season in 2013…Came into the 2014 August Camp as the No. 1 strong side linebacker on the depth chart…Athletic player with tremendous speed and knack for closing in on ball carriers…Runs a 4.46 in the 40-yard dash…He is also one of the strongest linebackers on the team with a max of 340 pounds on the bench press…Can bench press 225 17 times…Had an excellent spring practice for the Aggies…Made six solo tackles and one assisted tackle in the 2014 Blue-Gold Spring Game.

2013 Season: Played in 11 games with four starts…Made 11 solo tackles and 10 assisted tackles…Also made 3.5 tackles for loss (26 yards lost on the tackles)…Had his only sack of the season against Virginia University of Lynchburg on Nov. 2 as the Aggies won their Homecoming game 59-12…Had superb collegiate debut on Sept. 7 in the Aggies 24-21 win at Appalachian State…Made three solo tackles and three assisted tackles with one tackle for loss…Made three solo tackles and one assisted tackle in the Aggies 27-19 win over Howard on Sept. 27.

High School: Has a 37-inch vertical and a 59-inch wingspan…Rushed for 1,072 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior…Made 57 tackles, two interceptions, forced two fumbles, recovered three and had a sack as a junior...Earned Georgia All-State honors and was an all-region selection as a sophomore. 

Personal: Full name is Marcus Albert...He is the son of Herbert and Belencia Albert...Was born on Nov. 10, 1994...majors in business management.
