Followed up a stellar 2013 season with an even better 2014 season that included first-team All-MEAC honors…Also took on the duty of punter after an injury to first-team punter Dominic Frescura…Jones comes into camp as the Aggies placekicker and will also enter as the team’s No. 1 punter…Has made 24 of 32 field goals (.750), 75 of 78 (.962) extra points and has 147 career points…Only Tarik Cohen (150 points) has scored more points than Jones over the past two seasons...Has also recorded 10 career touchbacks on kickoffs and in 106 kickoffs he is averaging 59.1 yards.

2014 Season: Played in 12 games…Made 15 of 19 field goals and 45 of 47 extra points…Scored 90 points which ranks second on the team…Kicked the ball off 62 times for 3,585 yards and 57.8 per kickoff…Eight of his kickoffs went for touchbacks…As a punter, he had 33 punts for 1,292 yards for 39.2 yards per punt…Earned first-team All-MEAC honors and honorable mention All-American honors from BOXTOROW as a kicker…Led the conference in field goal percentage (.750)…Also led all MEAC kickers in scoring and ranked second overall behind teammate Tarik Cohen in scoring…Ranked second in the MEAC in extra point percentage (.957)…Ranked seventh in the MEAC in punting average…Nationally, Jones ranked 22nd in field goals per game, 25th in field goal percentage and 46th in scoring…Made three field goals of 40 yards or more…Made 12 straight field goals from Sept. 20-Nov. 15…Streak was broken at N.C. Central when he missed a 30-yarder on Nov. 22…Connected on a career-long 47-yard field goal in a 40-21 win over Florida A&M on Oct. 25…Made a career-high four field goals (connecting on all four field goals) in a 33-20 win at Delaware State on Oct. 18…One of those field goals included a 43-yarder…Nine of his punts landed inside the 20, he had six punts of 50 yards or more, four touchbacks and had one punt blocked…Had a career-long 62 yard punt at Delaware State…Also had a 56-yard punt in a 45-0 win over Morgan State on Nov. 8.

2013 Season: Played in nine games…Missed two games due to injury…Led the Aggies in scoring with 57 points…Made 9 of 13 field goals and 30 of 31 extra points…Also kicked the ball off 44 times for a total of 2,680 (60.9 yards per kickoff)…Ten of his kickoffs went for touchbacks and three went out of bounds…Was responsible for 11 of the Aggies 23 points in their 23-10 win over Elon on Sept. 14…Made 3 of 4 field goals in the game, including a 38-yarder in the second quarter, and he connected on two extra points…His longest field goal of the season was a 42-yarder at Hampton on Oct. 12…Had four touchbacks on kickoffs in the Aggies 59-12 Homecoming win over Virginia University of Lynchburg on Nov. 2…Scored 11 of the Aggies 23 points in a close 24-23 loss at Morgan State on Nov. 9…Made 3 of 3 field goals in the game, connecting on two 38-yard field goals and a 29-yarder in the game.
