Enters his final season at N.C. A&T with an opportunity to garner MEAC Defensive Player of the Year honors … Has become a candidate because is one of the most effective defensive lineman in the conference … Possesses play-making ability and causes offenses havoc on a consistent basis … Followed up his 2014 second-team All-MEAC selection with a first-team All-MEAC  nod in 2015 … Has the ability to be able to block kicks on field goals…Has tremendous speed, causes disruption with his ability to get in the opponent’s backfield…Has played a major role in the Aggies having one of the best rush defenses in the nation over the past three  seasons…Has big-hit ability which should help the Aggies force turnovers…Helped the Aggies rank third in the nation in turnover margin in 2014…Has the best bench press on the team at 460 pounds…Also can lift 225 pounds 25 times, which ties for tops on the team … Also has a squat max of 575 pounds which ranks him second on the team … Over his career, Ragland has played in 34 games with 27 starts … Has 136 tackles, arts and has 84 tackles (74 unassisted), 38 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, one interception and four pass break ups…He also has four blocked kicks in his career.

2015 Season: Started all 12 games … Made 48 tackles (27 unassisted), 11 ½ tackles for loss, 2 ½ sacks, three pass break ups, one forced fumble, one interception and one blocked kick … Named first-team All-MEAC for the first time … Also earned Boxtorow All-American honors … Was tied for fourth on the team in total tackles …  Ranked 13th in the conference in tackles for loss … Made a team-high nine tackles in tough-fought 14-7 win over Elon on Sept. 19 … Made seven tackles (6 unassisted) and had 3 ½ tackles for loss in the Aggies Nov. 14 win over Delaware State … Had three unassisted tackles and intercepted a pass against N.C. Central on Nov. 21.

2014 Season: Started all 12 games…Made 69 tackles (38 unassisted), 15.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks…Also forced two fumbles, recovered a fumble and blocked three kicks…Ranked seventh in the nation in blocked kicks…Also ranked 36th in the nation in sacks and 43rd in tackles for loss…In the conference, ranked 29th in tackles, tied for third in sacks and fifth in tackles for loss…Had a career-high nine tackles (six unassisted) along with a career-high three tackles for loss which included 2.5 sacks in a 45-0 A&T win at Aggie Stadium over Morgan State on Nov. 8…Had eight tackles including seven unassisted in a 31-14 win over Hampton at Aggie Stadium on Oct. 9 in a nationally-televised game on ESPNU…Had five solo tackles, two tackles for loss and a blocked kick in a 38-22 win at Howard on Sept. 27…Had a key blocked field goal in the Aggies 17-12 win at Elon on Sept. 13.

2013 Season: Played in 10 games with three starts…Made nine solo tackles and six assisted tackles for a total of 15, including 2.5 tackles for loss and one sack…Made three solo tackles and one assisted tackle in the Aggies 59-12 win over Virginia University of Lynchburg on Nov. 2..Had two solo stops and two assisted tackles, including a tackle for loss in the Aggies 41-14 win over Savannah State on Nov. 16…The following week, he made three solo tackles against N.C. Central in a 28-0 win.
