200-yard backstroke, and 100-yard breaststroke events during the season...Finished
third in the 200-yard freestyle against Radford on Jan. 20, clocking in at
2:28.95...Helped the Aggies take third place in the 200-yard medley relay on Jan.
27 at Campbell in 2:07.83...Placed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle against VMI
and Howard on Oct. 29 with a season-best 2:27.82...Posted a season-best 1:02.86
time on Nov. 17 at the Highlander Invitational.
2010-11 season: Competed in five meets...Swam the
200-yard freestyle in 2:36.31 in the Oct. 8 dual meet against Radford and
Liberty for eighth place...In that same meet, clocked in at 7:31.73 in the
500-yard freestyle for ninth place...Took 10th place in the 50-yard
freestyle with a 30.44 time on Oct. 15 against Campbell and the 100-yard
freestyle in 1:09.65 in the same meet for eighth place...Also finished the
500-yard freestyle in 7:30.21 on Oct. 15...Swam the 200-yard freestyle in 2:37.83
and the 100-yard freestyle in 1:07.19 at the CCSA Duals on Jan. 22...Posted a
season-best 1:04.77 in the 100 free and a season-best 29.82 in the 50-free at
the CCSA Championships.
High School: Named
team captain and team MVP on the first-ever established swimming team at
Rosewood High School...Was the highest scorer on the team as she competed in
the 500-meter freestyle and 300-individual medley...Was an honor graduate, a
National Honor Society member and a second chair Baritone All-County Band
member...Also played in the concert band for four years and ran track...Was Part
of the Youth Council as a parliamentarian.
