Lawrence transferred to North Carolina A&T in 2012 and became a star in football and track and field…Posted one of the best outdoor seasons in A&T track and field history in 2014 by reaching the NCAA national finals in the 100 meters and earning All-American honors…Lawrence is a three-time first-team All-MEAC performer (100/2014 MEAC Outdoor, 400 meter relay/2014 MEAC Outdoor and 60 meters/2014 MEAC Indoor)…Earned third-team all-conference honors in the 200 at the 2014 MEAC championships…He also earned second-team All-MEAC honors in the 100 and third-team honors in the 400 meter relay in 2013…In 2013, he led the Aggies football team in receptions and receiving yards…Has earned three trips to the NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round meet, one as a member of the ECU 400 meter relay team…His other two trips came as an Aggie in 2013 and ‘14 …His personal-best include, a school-record 10.24 in the 100, 20.98 in the 200 and 6.70 in the 60…Toward the end of the indoor season was dubbed as the second-fastest football/track and field collegiate athlete in the country.

2013-14 Indoor Season:  Competed in seven meets during the indoor season… Was ranked No. 1 in the conference in the 60 throughout the indoor and outdoor seasons… Won the MEAC championship in the 60 in 6.78 on Feb. 15… Ran a personal best of 6.70 in the 60 at the 2014 Armory Collegiate Invitational to finish first in his preliminary heat… Placed first in the 60 at the Gene Anderson Invitational with a time of 6.78… Placed third in the 60 at the Penn State National Invitational at 6.74… Won the 60 in 6.75 at the George Mason Last Chance Meet.

 2014 Outdoor Season: Competed in nine meets during the outdoor season… Qualified for the 2014 NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round held in Jacksonville, Fla., in the 100 and the 400 meter relay…Advanced to the NCAA National Championships in the 100, where he ran a school-record 10.24 in the final to earn All-American honors…Ranked as high as seventh in the nation in the 100 during the season… Ran a wind-aided 10.12 in the NCAA national preliminary heat to qualify for the finals… Ran a personal best 20.98 in the 200 preliminary heat at the NCAA national meet … His 400 meter relay team finished one place shy of qualifying the NCAA national finals…Won the 2014 MEAC championship in the 100 with a time of 10.57…Also helped the 400 meter relay team win the MEAC title in 40.27… Placed third in the 200 with a wind-aided 20.88 at the MEAC meet, earning third-team all-conference honors … Ran a personal best of 10.33 in the 100 during the preliminary round at Penn Relays, placing third in the finals with a time of 10.39… Helped the 400 meter relay team place first in 40.21 at the Charlotte 49er Classic… Helped the 400 meter relay win at the 2014 Aggie Invitational in 39.86… Helped the 400 meter relay team win at the Georgia Tech Invitational in 40.21.  

2013 Outdoor Season: Competed in nine outdoor meets during his first season at North Carolina A&T…Qualified for the 2013 NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round held at A&T’s Irwin Belk Track in the 100 meters…Was ranked No. 1 in the conference in the 100 for most of the season…Helped the Aggies’ 800 sprint medley relay win at the 41st Robert “Jet” Johnson Bulldog Relays with a time of 1:34.63…At the same meet, he and his 4x200 meter relay teammates finished second with a time of 1:23.41…Along with teammates Jeffrey Lewis, Marquis Noble and Keenan Smith, Lawrence was a part of an historic Aggies 4x100 meter relay team that advanced to the prestigious Championship of America at Penn Relays by running a 40.74 in the preliminaries…The foursome ran a 41.15 in the finals…Earned second-team and third-team All-MEAC honors by finishing second in the 100 (10.54) and third in the 4x100 meter relay (41.37) at the 2013 MEAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Irwin Belk Track…Ran a personal-best 10.35 in the 100 preliminary at the NCAA East meet to qualify for the quarterfinals.

2011-12 Indoor Season (ECU): Competed in five indoor meets for East Carolina as a sophomore…Ran a 6.93 at the 2012 Conference USA indoor championships in the 60 meters…Ran a season-best 6.91 at the Penn State National Invitational on Jan. 28.

2012 Outdoor Season (ECU): Participated in seven meets during the outdoor season, including the 2012 NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round…He and his 4x100 meter relay team placed fourth at the Beaches vs. Mountains meet on March 31 with a time of 41.69…The Pirates 4x100 team won the Kent Taylor-Joe Hilton UNC Invitational by running a 41.07…At the same meet, he placed third in the 100 with a time of 10.86…Won the 4x100 championship at the 2012 C-USA outdoor championships by running a 40.41…Finished second at the same meet in the 100 with a time of 10.63 after qualifying for the final by running a 10.62…His 4x100 meter relay  team also qualified for the NCAA East meet and ran a 40.26 in the preliminary.

2010-11 Indoor Season (ECU): Competed in three meets during the indoor season…Placed second in the 60 meters at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup with a time of 6.83 on Feb. 5…Ran a 6.89 in the preliminary…Placed fourth at the Dick Taylor UNC Invitational by running a 6.95 in the 60 meters on Feb. 12…Qualified for the final by running a 6.98.

2011 Outdoor Season (ECU): Participated in three outdoor meets as a freshman…He and his 4x100 meter relay teammates won the Wake Forest Open by running a 41.03 on March 19…Also won the Charlotte Invitational with a time of 40.30 on April 23…The Pirates 4x100 meter relay team finished second at the C-USA outdoor championships with a time of 40.24.

High School: Captured the 2009 North Carolina 4A state title in the 55-meter dash ... Moved on to take the national high school title in the 60-meter dash....Earned All-PAC-6 honors as a senior football player.
