2013-14 Indoor Season: Competed in six indoor meets…Placed second in the 200 at 22.36 at the Gene Anderson Invitational…At the same event, placed fourth in the 60 meters at 6.97…Placed first in the 200 in 22.24 and second in the 60 at 6.99 at the High Point Panthers Team Challenge.
2014 Outdoor Season: Helped the 800 meter relay team place fifth at the Raleigh Relays in 1:24.92…Helped the 400 meter relay team win the 2014 Aggie Invitational at 39.86… Won his first MEAC title when the 400 meter relay team won gold at the MEAC Outdoor Championships held at A&T’s Irwin Belk Track…They finished 40.27…Same relay team also won the Georgia Tech Invitational with a time of 40.21… Helped the 400 meter team qualify for the 2014 NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round, where they ran 39.78 to finish 13th.
High School: Attended Broughton High School…competed four years on varsity under Dare Christian…Named all-State and all-conference…His 4x100 meter relay team finished first at the North Carolina USATF/Region 16 with a time of 41:31…They also finished first in 42:12 at the Russell Blunt Invitational…He placed second at the Russell Blunt in the 100 meters with a time of 10.72, a personal-best…His personal best in the 200 meters at the Powerade State Games where he finished second in 22.04.
