Ten Baseball Players Earn Academic Honors
GREENSBORO – Ten members of the North Carolina A&T baseball team garnered MEAC All-Academic team honors, the conference announced. A total of 81 student-athletes from the nine baseball-playing conference institutions earned the academic recognition.
Sophomore Shane Carter (history), senior Andrew Cook (liberal studies), junior James Harris (graphic communication systems), sophomore Dylan Hipp (sports science & fitness management), junior Stefan Jordan (journalism & mass communication), senior Dairio Little (sports science & fitness management), senior Andre McKoy (sports science & fitness management), senior Darrin Meaders (mechanical engineering), senior Mark Nales (criminal justice) and senior Reggie Washington (industrial & systems engineering) were all recognized for their academic achievements during the 2012-13 school year.
To be eligible for the MEAC All-Academic team, student-athletes had to be at least a sophomore with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average, and have at least on year’s residency at the institution.
