DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.  - North Carolina A&T started what will undoubtedly be a tough road trip as the Aggies volleyball team lost to Bethune-Cookman 3-0 (25-15, 16, 16). Tatiana Cooper led the Aggies with four kills and seven digs.

Sophomore Jeana Daniels contributed with 10 digs. The Aggies must now travel to Tallahassee, Fla., to face Florida A&M Sunday at 3 p.m. N.C. A&T (0-19, 0-2) had trouble offensively on Friday with a -.130 hitting percentage.

After a slow start in the first set put N.C. A&T down 17-9, the Aggies made a strong showing. Kills by Cooper and Andrea Evans helped the Aggies move to within six. Two Wildcat errors completed a 4-0 run for the Aggies as they trailed 17-13. The Wildcats were able to gather themselves after an Aggies service error.

A Janeen Davis service ace put the Wildcats on the path to victory in the first set.  The Wildcats were led by Davis' 13 kills. Krysta Gardner added 10 kills for the Wildcats who improved 8-10 overall and 2-1 in the MEAC.
