Considered one of the best players in the MEAC...Reached the 1,000-point plateau during the 2011-12 season, becoming just the seventh player in school history to score 1,000 points in three years...Has earned all-conference honors twice...Has led the Aggies in scoring over the past seasons...Has also been one of the Aggies top rebounders and comes into the season with a chance to become the school's all-time steals leader...Has played in 89 games with 58 starts...During her career, she has compiled 1,041 points, 469 rebounds, 232 assists and 192 steals in 3,019 minutes...She could finish in the top 5 all-time in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals before her career is over...She is also a career .381 shooter from the field, .230 shooter from 3-point range and a .659 shooter from the free throw line. 

2011-12 Season:  Played in 29 games with 25 starts...Averaged 14.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.2 steals...Earned second-team All-MEAC honors for her efforts, and also became the 12th player in school history to reach the 1,000-career point plateau...Ranked seventh in the conference in scoring, eighth in rebounding, ninth in steals and third in defensive rebounds (5.3)....Shot .386 from the floor and .653 from the free throw line...She hit double-digits in seven straight games from Nov. 12-Dec. 12, and in a season-best 11 straight games from Dec. 21-Feb. 6...Finished the year with eight double-doubles and scored in double figures 23 times...Recorded eight double-figure rebounding games... Led the team in scoring nine times, in rebounding 10 times, in assists six times, in steals 10 times, and in blocks eight times...Earned Dean's List honors for the 2011 Fall semester...Had a season-best 28 points on 15-for-20 shooting from the free throw line and added 14 rebounds in a win over N.C. Had 27 points with nine rebounds off the bench on Dec. 22 at Wofford ...Posted 20 points and 10 boards in a 69-54 win over Bethune-Cookman on Jan.7... Collected 17 points and 10 rebounds to help the Aggies defeat Bethune-Cookman 63-60 in overtime on Feb. 4...Tallied 23 points and a career-high 16 rebounds on 9-for-11 shooting from the free  throw line in a win over N.C. Central on Feb. 18...Collected her 1,000th career point on Feb. 27 at the free throw line at the 18:18 mark in the second half...Finished the game with her seventh double-double of the season as she posted 17 points and 13 boards to help Patricia Cage-Bibbs earn her 500th career win....Posted 14 points and matched a career-high with 16 rebounds against Morgan State to lead the Aggies in the first round of the MEAC Tournament.

2010-11 Season: Played in 26 games with 25 starts...Capped off her season with a first-team All-MEAC selection Averaged a team-high 34.3 minutes (the sixth most mpg in the MEAC), and led the team 14.5 points per game average...Shot .416 from the floor, .209 from 3-point range and .691 from the free throw line...Averaged a career-best 6.1 rebounds and more than half of her rebounds come on the offensive end...Also averaged 3.4 assists,0.5 blocks and 3.4 steals per game...Ranked third in the nation in steals...Ranked fourth in the MEAC in scoring, ninth in field goal percentage, 12th in defensive rebounding and sixth in assists...Had the fifth best assist/turnover ratio in the MEAC (1.0) ... Led the team in points in eight games, led the team in rebounding in five games, in assists in 15 games, in steals in 12 times, in blocked shots five times and she had 16 games where she scored in double figures... On five separate occasions, she had double-figure rebounds...Named MEAC Defensive Player of the week on Jan. 3, 2011...Had a season-high 31 points on 13-for-17 shooting in a win over S.C. State on Jan. 22...Her 31 points were the second most by an MEAC player during the season, and the 13 field goals were the most by an MEAC player...She also had 10 steals in the game, which was a school record...Had a perfect field goal percentage by going 9-for-9 in a March 3 win over Norfolk State...Berry had five double-double games-on Nov. 14 at Winthrop (17 points, 12 rebounds), on Dec. 29 against Holy Cross (12 points, 11 rebounds), Jan.  8 against Florida A&M (12 points, 10 rebounds), Jan. 10 against Bethune-Cookman (11 points, 10 rebounds) and on Jan. 22 against S.C. State (31 points, 10 steals).

2009-10 Season: Played in 34 games with eight starts...Averaged 7.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game...Named to the All-MEAC Rookie Team...Scored in double figures 12 times...Made her first career start on Nov. 28 against Yale...Played 24 minutes and scored 10 points in the Aggies 81-80 win...Was instrumental in the Aggies 79-72 win over Florida A&M on Jan. 9...With the Aggies down 60-57 with five minutes remaining, Berry scored the first seven points of an 11-1 Aggies run to help A&T pull away...Finished the game with 16 points on 3-for-4 shooting from 3-point range and eight rebounds...Had a season-high 20 points in only 19 minutes played in a 90-80 loss to Hampton on Feb. 15...Played a season-high 34 minutes and scored 15 points in a 63-31 win over Winston-Salem State on Feb. 22.

High School: Averaged 16.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game as a senior at Coffee High School...As a junior, she was the only non-senior to earn All-Region honors...She was a two-time first-team all-conference performer...Named Player of the Year as a senior...Earned All-State honorable mention honors as a senior...Led Coffee High to regional and conference championships...Also played volleyball.

Personal: Full name is JaQuayla Zanetria Berry...She is the daughter of Kontina Berry...She was born on April 28, 1991 and majors in sports science...Plans on a career serving in the United States Navy...Her other interests include shopping and music...Spent the summer traveling and training...Her favorite book is The Prada Plan and "Family Guy" is her favorite television show...Her proudest accomplishment was being third in the nation for steals as a sophomore at A&T.
