Added depth at the guard position in her first season at A&T … Had a great first season on the perimeter and supported the Aggies’ offense as the sixth man … In her first season, Smith played a vital role in helping the Aggies finish second in the MEAC and reach the postseason WNIT in 2014…Per NCAA rules, sat out the 2012-13 season after transferring in from James Madison…JMU had tremendous success during Smith’s time there…Helped JMU reach the 2012 postseason WNIT final...The previous year, JMU advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

2013-14 Season:  Played in 31 games with three starts…Averaged 8.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game…Averaged 25.5 minutes per game…Was fourth on the team in scoring and assists (48) … Averaged 9.6 points in conference games … Shot .364 from the floor, .636 from the free throw line and .292 from the 3-point arc…Scored in double figures 12 times and led A&T in scoring four times … Recorded her only double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds in a 79-51 win over NCCU on Feb. 22 …In the same game, knocked down 4 of 6 3-pointers…Hit four 3-pointers and scored a season-high 21 points against George Washington on Dec. 21 …Knocked down four 3-pointers and scored 16 points at Florida A&M on Jan. 13….Scored 15 points on 7-for-12 shooting in a 78-46 win over Bethune-Cookman in the MEAC tournament on March 12.

2012-13 Season: Sat out due to NCAA transfer rules.

2011-12 Season (JMU):  Played in 29 games…Helped James Madison to a 29-8 overall record and a 14-4 record in CAA play…Totaled 52 rebounds with nine assists, a block and nine steals…Collected 55 points for JMU.

2010-11 Season (JMU):  Played in 17 games…Helped James Madison to a 26-8 overall record and a 16-2 record in CAA play as JMU won the CAA Championship crown for the second consecutive year…Played in 17 games for 101 total minutes…Totaled 17 points with 21 rebounds, six assists, and five steals.

High School: Averaged 21.2 points and 6.2 rebounds as a senior…Named a 2010 McDonald’s All-America nominee in 2010…Was named the Newport News Daily Press Player of the Year in 2010 and was named a Newport News Daily Press All-Star in 2009 and 2010 after helping Hampton High to consecutive Peninsula District Championship titles…Helped the East win in the Virginia High School Coaches Association All-Star Game with 16 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals…Was named the 2010 Peninsula District Player of the Year…Earned All-Peninsula District honors from 2008-2010 and was an All-Tri Rivers District second teams selection in 2007 while at Charles City High…Named the Charles City high offensive MVP in 2007…Set the school single-game record with 44 points in 2007 at Charles City…Was an honor roll student and graduated with honors…Also competed in cross country and track and field.
