Continued to be an offensive leader in the 2014-15 season … Currently ranks eighth on the A&T all-time list in assists with 244 … Made an immediate impact for the Aggies and flourished as a starter in her first season at A&T in the 2013-14 season where she led the MEAC in assists (5.1 apg) and recorded the second most assists  second in assists (157) in a single season in school history…Has led the Aggies in assists in each of her first two seasons…Ranked among the top 15 in the conference in assists and steals in 2014-15… … Received the Lady Aggies Coaches Award for the 2013-14 season… Carter transferred to A&T from Virginia Commonwealth University, after earning CAA All-Rookie honors in 2011-12 for the Rams…Per NCAA rules, she did not compete in any of the 2012-13 games…Helped VCU to a 19-15 record and a 9-9 finish in the CAA…VCU also advanced to the Round of 16 in the postseason WNIT…As she enters year three in an Aggies uniform, she has played in 61 games and scored 507 points, grabbed 204 rebounds, recorded 104 steals and has more assists than turnovers (195)….She is also a career .373 shooter, .606 free throw shooter and has connected on 41 3-pointers.

2014-15 Season: Played in 30 games with 15 starts… Averaged 6.8 points, 2.9 assists and 2.9 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game … Shot .382 from the floor, .272 from 3-point range and .620 from the line …Led the Aggies in assists in 13 games … Recorded seven games where she recorded five or more assists … Scored in double figures on five occasions … Headed the team in steals 14 times  …Ranked 12th in the MEAC in assists and was tied for 10th in steals… Finished with a season-high 17 points on 7-for-9 shooting at UMES on Dec. 8…Had nine points, a season-high eight rebounds and dished out five assists in a home win over S.C. State on Jan. 12 … Posted seven assists and just one turnover in only 21 minutes played in a blowout win over Delaware State at Corbett on Jan. 24…Had 10 points, four assists and no turnovers in a 59-56 loss to eventual MEAC champion Savannah State at Corbett.

2013-14 Season: Played in 31 games with 30 starts … Averaged 33.8 minutes per game, the most of any player on the team … Averaged 9.6 points, 5.1 assists, and 3.9 rebounds per game … Was second on the team in scoring and steals (43)… Led the MEAC in assists and was fourth in assists-to-turnover ratio…Ranked 50th in the nation in assists…Scored in double figures 13 times and led the Aggies in scoring five times… Tallied 22 games with five or more assists … Scored a season-high 28 points in the second game of the season over Georgia State on Nov. 15 where she was 12-for-16 from the field and dished out eight assists … Recorded a career-high nine assists on Dec. 7 against Va. Lynchburg … Posted a season-high five steals against Elon on Dec. 31.

2012-13 Season: Sat out due to NCAA transfer rules.

2011-12 Season (VCU):  Played in 34 games with 29 starts…Averaged 6.6 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.0 steals per game…Shot .292 from the floor, .232 from 3-point range and .350 from the free throw line…Earned CAA All-Rookie Team honors…Finished second among CAA freshman in assists…Posted a season-high nine assists at Old Dominion on Feb. 19…Named CAA Rookie of the Week twice…Named the team’s Best Competitor at the end of the season.

High School: Played varsity basketball at Thomasville High School…Earned first-team All-Central Piedmont honors as a junior after averaging 17.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 3.1 steals per game…Ranked No. 71in the nation by Carolina Scouting Services…Led the team to the Class 2A state playoff semifinals in 2009-10…Named to the All-Conference team three times, All-County team three times and won the Team MVP award twice…Won a conference championship as a freshman and sophomore…Helped Thomasville win the district championship as a junior and senior…Also competed with the NC Lady Magic AAU program coached by Nate Fries…Was an Honor Student.

Personal: Full name is Christina L. Carter…She is the daughter of Barbara and Edward Carter…Has two siblings, Tammie and Alan, and was born on Feb. 1, 1993…Majors in sports science and fitness management and plans to play professional basketball or coach after graduation…Her goal this season is to push her teammates in practice and encourage them during the games so that the Aggies can win the MEAC Championship.
