GREENSBORO - Eboni Ross was tabbed MEAC Rookie of the Week in women's basketball for the fourth time this season, the conference announced on Monday.

Ross (R-Fr., 6-2, Columbia, S.C.),  who has been starting at the center position in the place of the injured senior Nikia Gorham, helped the Aggies to a 2-0 record last week to extend the team's winning streak to five.

Ross scored 15 points, including 13 in the second half, on the road at Delaware State on 6-for-6 shooting.  She also had nine rebounds and a season-high six blocks in the contest.  It was the first time an A&T player had six blocks in a game since LaPorsha Lowry recorded six at Howard on Feb. 5, 2007.  Ross also contributed seven points, a team-high seven rebounds and a team-best five blocks in Saturday's 56-31 win against Bethune-Cookman.

For the week, she averaged 11.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 5.5 blocks.   She shot 60 percent from the floor and 67 percent from the free throw line. Ross also won MEAC Rookie of the Week on Dec. 3 and Jan. 7, and Jan. 21.
