Aggies Overview: The North Carolina A&T women’s basketball team will look to remain perfect at Corbett Sports Center as they seek their eighth home win of the season on Monday. At Corbett Sports Center, the Aggies have outscored their opponents by an average of 21.7 points. A&T has made it hard for opponents to score in its territory, holding its opponents to 47.1 points and forcing them into 25.0 turnovers. With the help of A&T’s first class defense, King is leading the nation in steals, averaging 3.4 per game. She also leads the Aggies in rebounds (6.1) and scoring (12.4). Carter (11.1) and McRae (9.3) are second and third on the team in scoring. A&T enters Monday’s game on a high note as it placed four players in double digit scoring in its last contest. The Aggies bench scored 34 points alluding to the promise and reliability of its players.
Coppin State Overview: Coppin State is currently second in the MEAC standings behind Hampton who is undefeated in the conference and gave the Eagles their only league loss. Although the Eagles have posted a 3-7 overall road record, they are a steady 3-1 on the road in conference games. Coppin State is coming off a 67-58 win over N.C. Central on Saturday where senior forward Larissa Carter led the Eagles with 18 points and 14 rebounds. She leads the team in rebounds, averaging 7.8 a contest and is second on the team in scoring (13.3), behind senior forward Kyra Coleman who is recording 14.3 points per game, Also adding to the Eagles offense has been senior guard Ashle Craig, averaging 11.8 points a game. Coppin State has shot 36.7 percent from the field this season and is scoring 61.8 points per game.
Potential Star: McRae has been crucial for A&T’s offense and defense. She’s a double threat, that can score efficiently down low and is a consistent leader on the glass for the Aggies,

*The Aggies snuck by the Eagles 70-64 last season at Corbett Sports Center on Jan, 28. King led the Aggies with 17 points and Ross finished with a team-high 10 rebounds. Larissa Carter recorded a double-double for the Eagles (17 points, 13 rebounds).
*King needs 18 points to become A&T’s 14th player in program history to score 1,000 points.
