Aggies Overview: The North Carolina A&T women’s basketball team will complete its road trip when it faces S.C. State on Monday in search of its sixth consecutive win. During the win streak, the Aggies have averaged 73 points per game behind King’s 16.2 points a game. A&T has also shot an impressive 44.7 percent from the field since Feb. 1 as Eboni Ross (66.7). Davis (56.0), McRae (53.8) have all shot over 50 percent. Davis has led the Aggies in rebounds in their last two games. Carter has dished out an average of 5.8 assists in the last five games and leads the MEAC (5.1). Monday’s game will be the last road game of the month as A&T will host a three-game home stand starting on Feb. 22. A&T will face Hampton on the road for the regular-season finale on Mar. 6.
Bulldogs Overview: S.C. State will be looking to rebound against A&T after dropping a 57-51 decision to NCCU at home on Saturday. The Bulldogs are currently tenth in the league standings, SCSU is 4-4 at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center and is led by junior guard Kourtney Williams. Williams is averaging 16.7 points per game, which is sixth in the league. Guard Cabriel Duren (10.5) is the only other player scoring double figures for the Bulldogs. SCSU also heads the MEAC in steals (10.2). Redshirt-sophomore Mykala Jones is shooting a league-high 43.6 percent from behind the arc and has drained 48 3-pointers.
Potential Star: King has averaged a team-high 16.2 points per game, along with 5.2 rebounds, and shot 45 percent from the 3-point range in A&T’s last five games.

*A&T is 34-30 all-time against the S.C. State.
*SCSU defeated A&T 68-57 in Orangeburg, S.C. on Feb. 16, 2013. Ross led the Aggies with 15 points. The Aggies won the rematch 59-54 at Corbett Sports Center on Mar, 2, 2013 where four players scored in double figures in scoring behind Bursey’s 13 points.
*The Aggies are scoring 64.9 points a game on the road.
