From the Coach: "Playing a team for the third time means both teams are familiar with personnel and both coaching staffs are familiar with each other’s schemes. It should be an exciting game for our fans. We want to make sure we don’t take this Bethune-Cookman team coached by Vanessa Blair-Lewis lightly just because we won both regular season contests. Conference standings are out the window now. It’s about surviving and advancing at this point." Head coach Tarrell Robinson said about A&T’s opening game in the MEAC Tournament
