GREENSBORO - Tiffanie Adair continues to make a case for earning MEAC Rookie of the Year honors in women's basketball.  The North Carolina A&T sophomore forward was selected as the MEAC Rookie of the Week for the fifth time in six weeks, and for the third time in a row. Adair, who is in her first year playing with the Aggies, had another strong week. She averaged 13 points and 12 rebounds for the week of Feb. 13-19. She also won the Rookie of the Week award for her contributions from Jan. 9-15, Jan. 16-22, Jan. 30-Feb. 5 and Feb. 6-12.

She led A&T with 14 points and 14 rebounds in a win over Savannah State on Feb. 13.  She went 10-for-15 from the free throw line against the Tigers.  In the Aggies' victory over archrival N.C. Central on Feb. 18, she posted her third straight double-double and fifth of the year with 12 points and 10 rebounds.  Adair also had a pair of blocks against the Eagles, and was 6-for-10 from the floor.

In the last 10 games - all starts - she has totaled 142 points and 101 rebounds.  She's shooting .602 in conference games - first among all MEAC players - and is averaging 11.8 points and 8.5 rebounds in conference games. She holds the highest scoring average and rebounding average among all A&T first-year players this season at 7.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.
