One of the best pass rusher in the MEAC…Started his career at A&T as walk-on and has developed into a force at the defensive end position…Should be a starter at one of the defensive end positions…Has been instrumental in the Aggies putting together one of the best defensive lines and defenses in the nation…A&T had the fourth overall ranked defense in FCS and the 52nd best when it came to sacks thanks to Pinnix…Has played in 17 games with 10 starts…Runs an impressive 4.94 in the 40-yard dash, has a wingspan of 96 ½ inches and can bench press 225 23 times… Has one of the highest bench press maxes on the team at 380 pounds and squat 480.
2013 Season: Played in 10 games with nine starts…Made 11 solo tackles and 11 assisted tackles for a total of 22…Led the team in sacks (7.0-51) and was second in tackles for loss (9.0-54)…Ranked 31st in the nation and seventh in the conference in sacks…Had a breakout game against Elon on Sept. 14 when he made a career-high seven tackles, three of those tackles were tackles for loss and two were sacks in the Aggies 23-10 win…Followed that performance with three solo tackles and one assisted tackle along with two more sacks in the Aggies 27-19 win over Howard on Sept. 27.
2012 Season: Played in seven games without a start…Made one solo and five assisted tackles for a total of six on the season…Made his first career tackle on Sept. 15 when he and Devin Ray stopped Virginia University of Lynchburg’s Avery Neloms for a 4-yard loss…Made two assisted tackles in the Aggies’ 38-10 win over Howard on Oct. 13.
High School: Was a PAC 6 2-A all-conference selection by the News & Record as a junior and senior… Bench pressed 315 pounds and named the team's strongest player…Made 110 tackles (85 solo) and 13 sacks, tops in the Pac 6 in 2009.
