The North Carolina A&T volleyball team had a .049 hitting percentage against the perennial powerhouse in the conference. The low hitting percentage against a Florida A&M team that has won six consecutive resulted in a 3-0 (30-21, 18, 21) loss Thursday night at Gaither Gymnasium.

Senior setter Brenden Chatman led the Aggies with 22 assists and 10 digs. Offensively, Kaycee Anderson and Aundia Gray led the Aggies with six kills apiece. Senior middle hitter Nyra Taborn and junior Avignon Williams had seven blocks apiece.

The Aggies fell to 1-1 in the MEAC, while the Rattlers won their 94th straight MEAC match.

 The Aggies return to action Friday night when they travel to Daytona Beach, Fla., to play Bethune-Cookman at 7 p.m.
