Box Score It took seven-time defending MEAC Champion Rattlers just 54 minutes to defeat the Aggies 3-0 (30-13, 23, 11) on Sunday afternoon at Corbett Sports Center. For the second straight match, senior Kaycee Anderson led the Aggies. She followed Saturday’s 21-kill performance with seven kills. Fellow senior Brenden Chatman added six kills, 18 assists and six digs. But the Aggies never got their offense going as they registered just a .077 hitting percentage. Meanwhile, the Rattlers jumped on the Aggies early with an impressive .517 hitting percentage in the first game. Iva Lakic and Jovana Blazeski had 19 and 18 kills apiece for the Rattlers. Both players had double-doubles as they added 12 digs apiece. Hannah Uckelmann added 12 kills. The Aggies close will close out their conference record at 5-3. It marks the 12th straight season the Aggies have finished above .500 in the conference. The Aggies play their final match of the season 6 p.m., Tuesday against Winston-Salem State at Corbett Sports Center. |
