The Aggies are playing without top hitter Arlene Mitchell. There has been no ill-effect so far at the MEAC Roundup, however. The Lady Aggies improved to 5-0 at the MEAC Roundup held on the campus of the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, Md., with a 3-1 win over Delaware State and a 3-0 win over UMES. The Aggies improved to 13-11 overall and 6-1 in the MEAC. The Aggies close out the roundup with a Sunday game against Howard. The Aggies went 3-0 on the first day, including a win on a ESPNU, the first nationally televised game for the N.C. A&T volleyball program. On Saturday, the Aggies started the day with a win over Delaware State. Krystal Cooper finished with 15 kills and 14 digs and added three blocks. Brenden Chatman continued her outstanding play as she ended the night with 48 assists and 17 digs. The sophomore setter has averaged an impressive 12.3 digs per match from her normal offensive position. The Aggies took their second match of the day with the win over host UMES. Darlene Mitchell led the way with 17 kills.
