ANDERSON AT A GLANCE: Came to N.C. A&T as a junior college transfer out of Sheridan Community College…Brought with her an element of maturity and playing experience…Injuries derailed her first season at N.C. A&T…Came on midway through the season to be a valuable substitute and proved to be a good passer and defender…Also possesses a good sense on where to hit the ball on attacks…Coaches compliment her high volleyball IQ…Registered a 4.0 GPA during the 2007 spring semester.
2006: Missed the first seven matches of the season with a knee injury…Made her Aggie debut on Sept. 19 at East Carolina…Recorded two total attacks in one game of action against the Pirates…Played in 45 games over 20 matches last season without a start…Recorded five assists, nine service aces and 22 digs over that period…Had six service aces and three digs over four games in a 3-1 win over Savannah State on Sept. 30…Had four digs and two service aces in a 3-1 win over Hampton on Oct. 6…Also had four digs and two service aces against in a 3-0 win at Bethune-Cookman on Oct. 27.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played two seasons at Sheridan for coach Todd Cooper…Named All Region and All- Conference following her second season…Earned Dean’s List honors, completing with a 3.4 GPA.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters for legendary coach Jamie Fox…Named Second Team All-State and was named to the Senior All-Star team her senior season…Led the Darts to a 3rd place finish at the Utah State Tournament her senior season…Graduated with a
3.4 GPA.
