Dotstry returns for her second season with two big shoes to fill…She could take over in the middle for all-time blocks leader Avignon Williams…As a freshman, she showed the potential needed to be an outstanding middle blocker for the Aggies…Has quickness and athleticism, and could develop into an outstanding offensive threat for the Aggies…Has improved on her hitting during the off-season, which should make her formidable force for the Aggies for years to come.

2008 Season: Played in 28 matches with 22 starts...Played in 85 of the 99 games played during the season...Averaged 0.98 kills and 0.80 blocks per game...Had 122.5 points with 83 kills, 11 solo blocks, and 57 block assists...Ranked second on the team in blocks per game and third in total blocks...Recorded a season-high eight kills, posted a .353 hitting percentage and had five blocks in a 3-2 win over Winston-Salem State on Oct. 31...Had seven kills and a season-high 10 blocks in a 3-2 loss at S.C. State on Oct. 19...Had five kills with no errors in nine total attacks and added six blocks against Bethune-Cookman on Oct. 24...Recorded a season-best .364 hitting percentage, recording only one attack error in 11 total attacks at Bethune-Cookman on Oct. 10.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played three years of varsity volleyball under head coach Lisa Sanford at Henry Ford II...She also played basketball at the school...She was a three-time all-county performer and a two-time all-conference selection...She also made the academic honor roll.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Breanne C.D. Dotstry...She is the daughter of Karri and Louis Dotstry...She was born March 12, 1989...Dotstry's major is sports science...She likes to read romance novels...Her nicknames include Bree, Boogie and Banana ...Her dream is to be a sports broadcaster...The best thing about being an Aggie is being a part of the great history.
