THE INMAN SKINNY: Inman proved to be a versatile player during her freshman season as an Aggie…Spent most of the season as a defensive specialist, but could see playing time at the libero position…She is an excellent passer and could develop into one of the best diggers in the MEAC before her career ends…She worked hard during the off-season and spent countless hours in the gym working to improve.

2007: Played 96 games over 31 matches and made five starts…Came into her own as one of the Aggies top defensive players…Showed great range of motion and was good at serve receive…She also proved to be an adequate server…She tied for the team lead in serves aces with 38 and led the team in serves aces per game with 0.40…She finished the season with 123 digs and averaged 1.28 digs per game…Made only 10 serve receive errors during the season…She also had four kills and 23 assists…She recorded 11 digs and had two assists in a road win over S.C. State on Sept. 25…Set a career high in serves aces with six in a 3-1 loss to Providence on Sept. 29…She also had six digs in the game…She had five serves aces in a 3-0 win over Savannah State on Sept. 28…Recorded eight digs and had two assists in a road win over Norfolk State on Oct. 19.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played three seasons at Alleghany High School under head coach Debbie Weaver…Was an all-conference performer as a junior and senior…She also played basketball where she earned honorable mention honors as a junior and all-conference honors as a senior…As softball standout, she earned all-conference recognition as a junior and senior…As a track and field athlete, she was named all-conference as a sophomore.  

PERSONAL: Full name is Amber Dawn Inman...She is the daughter of Jenna Billings...She has one sibling, Ryan...She was born on May 3, 1989...She is a sports science major...She wants to be a volleyball coach for a collegiate team after graduation...She says Olympic beach volleyball gold medalist Misty May has had the biggest influence in her life.
