Career: Returns for her final season in the Aggie Blue and Gold...Coming off the best season of her career...Posted career highs in matches and games played, kills, total attacks, digs and services aces…Played the entire season injury free, which allowed her to show her offensive skills...Came into her own during the 2006 MEAC Round-Up, filling in for her injured sister, Arlene...One of the most versatile athletes on the team, having contributed in each position over the course of her career...Needs just 38 kills to reach 500 for her career...Has 414 digs and 154 blocks (19 solos) in 290 games played...Also an outstanding student that has maintained a 3.0 or above G.P.A. since her arrival at A&T.
2005: Played in a team high 141 games in all 40 matches...Averaged 3.00 kills and 1.59 digs per game...Led team with 423 kills...Served 27 aces...Had 71 total blocks (five solos)...Ranked 11th in the MEAC in kills per game and 15th in digs per game...Made 36 starts...Filled in during her sister’s absence and averaged 3.3 kills per game as the Aggies went 8-4…Had 13 kills and four block assists in a 3-2 loss to UNC Wilmington on Sept. 2…Had eight kills and three digs in a 3-0 victory at Hampton on Sept. 6…Had four kills and 2.5 total blocks in a 3-2 loss to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Sept. 9…Posted seven kills and eight digs in a 3-0 victory over Radford on Sept. 10…Had nine kills in a 3-0 victory over Campbell on Sept. 10… Had 10 kills, 9 digs, and two aces in a 3-1 victory over High Point on Sept. 13…Had seven kills, 10 digs, four assists, and three block assists in a 3-0 victory over Bethune–Cookman on Sept. 24…Had 13 kills, six digs and one solo block in a 3-2 victory over S.C. 2004:
Ranked fifth in the MEAC in blocks with 78, 14 of them came on the solo
end…Had an .890 serving percentage last season, which was tops for the
Aggies…Had the fourth highest attack percentage (.142) on the team last
season…Recorded more blocks than any other Aggie in a match last season with
eight against S.C. State (seven solo) on Sept. 3, a match in which the
Aggies 3-0…Recorded six blocks against Campbell in a 3-1 loss to the Camels
on Nov. 9.
2003: Played most of the season as a reserve…Earned more playing time toward the end of the season…Played in 45 games as a freshman…Recorded six kills against Bethune-Cookman on Nov. 15.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters for coach Darlene Oxendine…Combined with her twin sister and current volleyball teammate, Arlene, to win state championships in volleyball and track during their senior season...As a track athlete, won state championship the 4 x 100-meter relay and helped her team to the state title...Also lettered in basketball.
