NYRA AT A GLANCE: After adjusting to the speed of Division I volleyball, became a key contributor in the middle for the Aggies…Came to N.C. 2006: Played a key role as a reserve last season…Played in 44 games over 22 matches with nine starts…Was one of four players on the team with a better than .200 hitting percentage…Averaged 0.82 kills and 0.39 blocks per game…Became a key figure during conference play for the Aggies…In 18 conference games over nine matches, had a .262 hitting percentage, averaged 0.94 kills per game and posted 0.39 blocks per game in conference play…Had a career game against Bethune-Cookman…Recorded eight kills, had a .571 hitting percentage and recorded two blocks in the 3-1 win on Oct. 27…Posted seven kills, two digs and five blocks in a 3-0 win over Savannah State on Sept. 30…In a nationally-televised game on ESPNU against S.C. State, recorded five kills, had a .364 hitting percentage and one block in the 3-1 win.
At Kaskaskia Junior College: Played two seasons at Kaskaskia for coach Tracy Plagemann…Named the team rookie of the year after her first season…Also played basketball for coach Zach Loll…Key part of team that made playoffs in each of her two seasons.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity letters for Dana Brewer at Harrisburg High School…Also lettered in basketball and track…Named the school’s homecoming queen her senior year.
