Postgame Notes N.C. A&T women at UMES

Lamona Smalley has played in eight conference games as a N.C. A&T
Aggie. The Aggies are 8-0 when Smalley plays against a conference
opponent. A year ago when the Aggies started 4-0 in the conference,
Smalley was injured in practice prior to playing Coppin State on
January 20. If the Smalley stay injury free, it will benefit the
Aggies.

Brittanie Taylor-James has scored in double figures in her last
three games. The junior reserve is averaging 13.3 points and 6.3
rebounds per game over that span, including 16 rebounds in her last
two games.

Amber Bland scored 24 points on Saturday. It marked the 20th
time she has scored 20 or more points. The Aggies are 16-4 when she
scores 20 or more.

Lamona Smalley recorded the fourth double-double of her career
Saturday when she scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. It was
the eighth time in her career she recorded double figure rebounds.
Smalley had a double-double in her first game as an Aggie.
- The
Aggies are 4-0 in the conference. They have won their four
conference games by an average 18.0 points per game.

Conference teams are shooting just 32.3 percent from the field and
15.5 percent from 3-point range against the Aggies. The Aggies lead
the conference in field goal percentage defense.
- The
Aggies shot 85.7 percent from the line on Saturday. It was their
best showing at the line all season.
