Aggies on MEAC postseason teams as the Fayetteville senior earned
first-team all-conference honors. It was Cook's first first-team
honor. Jaleesa Sams and Lamona Smalley made second-team All-MEAC. |

Cook earns first-team All-MEAC honors
GREENSBORO, March 4, 2010 --
The North Carolina A&T women's
basketball team celebrated its most successful senior class in
school history Thursday night, and then went on to beat Norfolk
State 79-59. But it was freshman Amber Calvin who led the way with
17 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Cook won her second MEAC Player of the Week honor of the season on
Monday, and she scored 27 points Monday night against Morgan State,
but the Bears used a late 3-pointer to defeat the North Carolina A&T
women's basketball team 73-69 at Hill Field House. |
