A&T women's basketball team lost to Florida State in the WNCAA
Tournament on Saturday, head coach Patricia Cage-Bibbs was thrilled
to see her underclassmen play so well. The future still looks bright

FSU IN WNCAA TOURNEY
Cook leads all scorers with 19
DULUTH, Ga., March 21, 2009 --
It appeared the N.C. A&T women's
basketball team had the third-seeded Florida State rattled with
approximately 13 minutes to play in the first round of the WNCAA
Tournament on Saturday at the Gwinnett Arena. But FSU hit timely
3-point shots and earned an 83-71 win over the 14th-seeded Aggies.

MATCH-UP AGAINST FSU
DULUTH, Ga., March 20, 2009 --
The N. C. A&T women's basketball
team spoke with the media on Friday before its first round game
against Florida State Saturday at 2:30 p.m., from the Gwinnett
Arena. At the presser, Bibbs stated:

GEORGIA ON THEIR MINDS
Aggies to open against ACC regular-season champs
WINSTON-SALEM, March 16, 2009 -- The North Carolina A&T women's
basketball team discovered where it was going for the 2009 WNCAA
Tournament on Monday when it was revealed the Aggies will play the
Florida State Seminoles in Duluth, Ga., as a No. 14 seed.

Bland named tournament MOP
WINSTON-SALEM, March 14, 2009 --
After a 15-year absence, the N. C.
A&T women's basketball team is back in the NCAA
Tournament thanks to a 76-54 win over Hampton in the MEAC
Championship Game at LJVM Coliseum. Tournament MOP Amber Bland led
all scorers with 18 points, and Brittanie Taylor-James finished with
17.
