Russ in AggieLand: Had some bright spots during the season as she tried become adjusted to Division I play…Comes into this season looking to be a better distributor, ballhandler and defender…Came to N.C. A&T with a reputation of being a shooter and could find some playing time at the No.2 guard position…Played 219 minutes as a freshman and scored 30 points, grabbed 18 rebounds, dashed out 10 assists and had 14 steals. 2007-2008: Played in 23 games with no starts for the Aggies…Averaged 1.3 points, 0.8 rebounds, 0.4 assists and 0.6 steals per game…Shot .281 from the field, .333 from 3-point range and .800 from the free throw line…Played double-figure minutes 15 times…Scored seven points and four assists on 2-for-5 shooting in a win over S.C. Upstate on Nov. 27…She hit a big 3-pointer at Delaware State on Jan. 21 that capped a 9-0 Aggies run that tied the game at 44-44 midway through the second half…The Aggies went on to win the game.
