Taylor-James in AggieLand: Returns to N.C. A&T for her third and final season…Has been a consistent scorer for head coach Patricia Cage-Bibbs…The UC Santa Barbara transfer has scored 0.5 points per every minute she has played at N.C. A&T…She is a two-time second-team All-MEAC performer…Her height coupled with her guard skills makes her difficult match-up for opposing teams…Taylor-James is adapt at getting at the line as well…She has attempted 256 free throws over her first two seasons for an average of 4.7 free throws per game…She not only gets to the line, she connects…In each of her first two seasons, she has ranked among the top 10 free throw shooters in the MEAC…She is a career .762 free throw shooter…Only three other MEAC players went to the line more than Taylor-James…She has scored in double figures 40 times in her career...She also has two career double-doubles and has led the Aggies in scoring eight times over her career…She has scored 714 points, grabbed 265 rebounds and dished out 80 assists in her career…She is a career .387 shooter from the field and a .222 shooter from 3-point range…Has played in 56 games with 31 starts…During the summer of 2007, she competed in Athletes In Action program, a program that allowed her to represent the United States and play alongside some of the best players in the U.S. while playing against some of the world’s best players in Taipei, China…The program also allowed the players to complete Christian missions.

2007-2008: Played in 33 games with 19 starts…Averaged 11.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.4 steals…Shot .414 from the field, .790 from the free throw line and .211 from 3-point range…Ranked 121st in the nation in free throw shooting and was second in the conference…She also ranked 16th in scoring and 12th in field goal percentage…Her numbers were more impressive as a starter…In 19 starts, she averaged 13.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and shot .450 from the floor and .784 from the field…She scored in double figures 22 times, led the Aggies in scoring three times and in rebounding five times…She opened the season by helping the Aggies rally from an 18-point first half deficit to Stetson by scoring 20 points in a 78-60 Aggies win on Nov. 9...Scored 19 points and was 9-for-9 from the free throw line in a win over Morgan State on Jan. 12…Recorded her second career-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds on 7-for-14 shooting in a win over S.C. State on Jan. 28…The Jan. 28 game against S.C. State started a streak of 12 straight games in which Taylor-James scored in double figures…Averaged 15.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and shot .476 from the floor during that span…She had 16 points and was 8-for-15 from the floor in a MEAC Tournament win over Hampton on March 14…Scored 16 points and led the Aggies with six rebounds in the Aggies WNIT game at South Carolina on March 21.

2006-2007: Played 23 games with 12 starts as a sophomore…Earned second-team All-MEAC honors…Averaged 14.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and shot a team-best .726 from the free throw line…Ranked fourth in the conference and second on the team in scoring…Ranked 10th in free throw shooting, 13th in 3-pointers made per game (1.09), 12th in blocked shots (0.74) and 13th in minutes played per game (32.13)…Scored in double figures 18 times…Scored 20 or more points twice during the season, while leading the Aggies in scoring five times…Also led the Aggies in rebounding twice and in assists once…Played 30 or more minutes in 20 of the 23 games she played…Averaged 16.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists over her last seven games of the season…In her 12 starts, she averaged 16.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and shot .768 from the free throw line and .364 from the field…Made her debut as a  Aggie against UNC-Asheville on Dec. 16…Scored nine points and grabbed three rebounds in the game…Posted a season-best 27 points on 11-for-25 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds in MEAC Tournament loss to Florida A&M on March 8…Scored 21 points on 11-for-14 free throw shooting, grabbed seven rebounds, had two steals and two blocked shots in a 73-63 win over Hampton on Feb. 26…Registered her only double-double of the season on Jan. 15 when she scored 17 points and had 10 rebounds in a 72-65 loss to Florida A&M…Also had five offensive rebounds in the game.

UC Santa Barbara: Provided UCSB with instant energy off the bench... Buried eight of final 16 shots (50%), including back-to-back three-pointers vs. Cal State Northridge that brought Thunderdome crowd to its feet...Enjoyed greatest success against conference for UC Irvine, averaging 7.5 points and 6.0 rebounds...Eight-for-eight effort from the charity stripe vs. UCI on March 3 equaled the most freebies made by any Gaucho in a single contest as well as the highest single-game percentage, and accounted for her career-high point total...Free-throw percentage of 75.0% was second-best on the team, while 24 of her 52 total points came from the charity stripe...Conference scoring average of 3.8 was over one-better than her season-long mark.

Nequa Valley High School: UCSB's first-ever player from the state of Illinois prepped at Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville...Ranked No. 211 among high school seniors by All-Star Girls' Report...Earned IBCA Class AA All-State Third Team honors in 2003-04 as well as fourth team recognition the previous year...Wildcats advanced to the sectional championship game both seasons and won an Upstate Eight Conference title in 2002-03...Scored a school-record 33 points as a senior in a game against Mercy, KY...Also holds Neuqua Valley's top career marks in free-throw (79%) and three-point (39%) percentage...Upped scoring average to 19.0 points per game as a senior from 13.3 in her junior campaign...Shot over 50% from the floor each season and hauled down 5.5 rebounds per contest while with the Wildcats...Coached by Mike Williams...Transferred to Neuqua Valley from Regina High School where she played two years of varsity hoops as well as one season each of tennis and volleyball...A three-time honor roll member who also earned a spot on the prestigious "Who's Who Among American High School Students" list...Gained club basketball experience with Chicago Hoops Express.
