Thomas provides the Aggies with a player who is disciplined and focused…Also provides the Aggies with an excellent defensive presence…Her understanding of the Aggies defense earned her six starts last season…Comes from a winning program at Bishop McNamara High School were the school was routinely ranked as one the best teams in the nation…She can play either guard position.

2008-2009: Played in 33 games with six starts...Averaged 4.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 17.4 minutes...Shot .324 from the field and .720 from the line...Ranked among the top freshmen in the MEAC in terms of shot attempts and made field goals...Scored her first career points against Ole Miss on Nov. 15 when she hit a layup three minutes into the game...Made her first career start at the Hokie Invitational on December 30 against Lafayette...She played 38 minutes, scored six points and grabbed a season-high seven rebounds...Averaged 6.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and shot .324 from the field in her six starts...Scored a season-best 10 points on 5-for-8 shooting in a 68-44 win over Florida A&M on Feb. 7...Scored nine points on 4-for-6 shooting in an MEAC Tournament win over Maryland-Eastern Shore on March 13.

Bishop McNamara High School Career: Played four varsity seasons under head coach Robert Suratt...Averaged 9.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.7 steals as a senior...Team ranked in the USA Today in each of her four seasons there...She also played George Washington’s Tiana Myers and American University’s Ebony Edwards…Earned All-DC, Maryland and Virginia Area honorable mention for three straight years...Earned third-team All-DC, Maryland and Virginia Area honors as a senior...She also earned an invitation to play in the McDonald’s Game...Was an honor roll student all four years in high school and lettered in volleyball.
