As an Aggie
Stepped in and played a key role for the Aggies when the team endured a rash of injuries…Averaged 6.0 rebounds after the team’s top rebounder Lamona Smalley went down with a season-ending knee injury and missed the last 14 games of the season. She is an excellent rebounder with the ability to put the all on the floor and hit mid-range jump shots…Adds depth in the frontcourt for the Aggies at the power forward position…Has a tremendous wingspan, which makes her a defensive presence in the post…Waddell is also an excellent student for the Aggies program in the classroom.

2006-2007: Played 30 games with eight stats as a freshman…Ranked second on the team in field goal percentage (.447), third on the team in rebounds (4.4) and was third on the team in blocked shots (0.6)…Averaged 3.4 points, shot .619 from the free throw line and averaged 19.8 minutes per game…Played 30 or minutes five times during the season…Led the Aggies in rebounding eight times and recorded two double-doubles…Made eight straight starts between Jan. 22 and Feb. 17…Averaged 5.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 29.0 minutes and made seven blocks while shooting .476 from the field and .778 from the free throw line during that span…Made her first career start on Jan. 22 against Morgan State….She scored 13 points, grabbed eight rebounds, blocked five shots, had three steals on 4-for-6 shooting in the game…Her performance earned her MEAC Rookie of the Week honors…Recorded her first career double-double on Jan. 8 as she recorded 13 points and 12 rebounds (eight came on the offensive end), while hitting all five of her free throws in the game to help the Aggies defeat Howard 87-73…Posted her second double-double on the season on Jan. 27 with 10 points and 13 rebounds on 5-for-7 shooting in a 86-58 win over Norfolk State…Had 13 points, five rebounds and two blocks, while hitting all five of her shots from the field to help the Aggies defeat Norfolk State on the road 83-77.

High School Career
Attended New Hanover High School in Wilmington, N.C. under head coach Vertha Dixon-Wright…Proved to be a durable player for New Hanover…Failed to start just four games in her high school career…Earned all-conference, all-defensive honors a senior…Earned all-tournament team honors as a sophomore…Led New Hanover in rebounding as a sophomore and senior…Named team captain as a junior and senior…Also made the A/B honor roll…Also ran track in high school.
