GREENSBORO-Aggie fans have seen many things happen on the court at Corbett Sports Center over the years.  But Aggie Nation probably saw some things they haven't seen before on Monday night during Aggie Madness.

Aggie Madness gave fans a chance to meet the A&T winter teams-swimming, bowling and men's and women's basketball-and to see a little of what they can do, and to enjoy performances by the A&T Blue & Gold Marching Machine and the A&T cheerleading team.

As the evening continued, all four teams were introduced and each head coach addressed the crowd, discussing their outlook for the 2012-13 season. The women's basketball team performed a team dance, and men's basketball head coach Cy Alexander showed fans that he can do the Dougie.

Then the competition started. Christian Carter, Ariel Bursey and Jessica Lyons competed in the skills competition as they showed off their agility and ball-handling skills. Bursey took home the title after shooting a winning free-throw.

Then the Aggies had three representatives from each basketball team take the floor for a 3-point shooting contest.  Redshirt junior Amber Calvin represented the women in the finals, while senior Jean Louisme represented the men. For the first time since Aggie Madness began four years ago, Calvin won bragging rights for the women by knocking down 10 threes in the finals.

Then the men had a chance to showcase their skills with a dunk contest.  After coming down to the two finalists, senior R.J. Buck took home the title, slamming the ball down after leaping over four people.
