GREENSBORO-The North Carolina A&T softball capped off
its fall ball season with a doubleheader against the College of Ablemarle
Dolphins on Saturday afternoon at the Lady Aggie Softball Complex.
The Aggies benefited from strong pitching and timely hitting
in the games. Freshman Janika May
blanked the Dolphins in six of the seven innings she pitched, and senior Ashira
Dobison held the College of Ablemarle to a handful of hits in the second tilt. The Aggies had a pair of extra-base hits in
the first game, and used three consecutive extra base hits in the third inning
of the second game to gain a large lead.
The Aggies were able to put on a base runner in each inning of the two
7-inning games.
