GREENSBORO - The North Carolina A&T softball team had six players earn National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Scholar Athlete honors, and the Aggies recorded its highest team finish with a 3.29 grade point average to tie for 45^th nationally among NCAA Division I programs.

Student-athletes who recorded a 3.5 GPA or better for the 2011-12 academic year earned NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete honors.  The Aggies had six players from last year's team collect All-America Scholar Athlete honors-Ashira Dobison, Hope Fletcher, Tranea Jones, Dominique Smith, Raven Smith and Erica Turner. The six honorees mark a new program best for the Aggies.

Last year, the Aggies had five players earn 2011 NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
