Nicknamed Deuce, he has been a valuable, versatile member of the Aggies secondary over the past three seasons … Has played safety and cornerback during his career … Likely will enter the 2026 season as a cornerback … Aggies have high expectations for the former walk-on who has developed into one of the better secondary players in the CAA … Family has a long history at A&T, including his father, Steven Davis, being a former football player ... Father is also the head coach of Dudley High School’s championship program … He is a local product with a championship background after playing at one of the state’s high school football powerhouses … Coming into the 2026 season, has played in 20 games with seven starts in his career … Has 73 career tackles, including two tackles for loss … Also has two pass breakups and one forced fumble.

2025 Season:  Played in eight games with four starts … Battled through injuries to make 28 tackles, including 24 unassisted … Also broke up two passes during the season … Missed the first three games of the season before returning on Sept. 20 against NCCU … The next week, he posted five tackles, including four unassisted in A&T’s 37-30 loss at Maine … In A&T’s 28-24 win over Campbell on Oct. 25, he made four solo tackles.

2024 Season: Played in 12 games with three starts … Ranked fourth on the team in tackles (45) … Twenty-nine of his tackles were unassisted, which was the third-best on the team … Twenty-nine of Davis’s 45 tackles occurred over the final three games of the season … Made 10 tackles, including four unassisted at Villanova on Nov. 9 … The following week at Towson, made a career-best 13 tackles … He also forced a fumble in the game … Finished the season with seven tackles against Elon.

2023 Season: Played in three games without a start.

High School: He played high school football at Dudley under head coach and father, Steven Davis in Greensboro ... Helped the Panthers win the North Carolina Class 3A state championship as a senior ... Posted 57 tackles, four interceptions, 12 pass breakups and one fumble recovery to help Dudley post a 15-0 record overall and a 7-0 record in conference play.
